AUDITORIUM

A special 400 Seater, fully Air-conditioned Auditorium has been opened where all sorts of Career Guidance Programs and Workshops are taking Place.

LABORATORIES

Dedicated laboratories for Science divisions i.e. Chemistry, Biology and Physics and Computer Science are in use.

VAE: VALUE-ADDED EDUCATION

To identify and up-grade the extra talents of the Students, LFMHSS is engaging in a series of Value Added Education (VAE) namely YOGA, KARATE, BHARATHAM, VOCAL, and KEYBOARD trained by the Professionals after School Hours by collecting very nominal fees. Quite a number of students are getting trained in this programme.

APJ ABDULKALAM PROJECTS

All of us may be aware of the Great Scientist, Bharath Ratna and the Missile Man of India Dr. APJ Abdul Kalam. To honour his service to Indian Science and the Nation, LFMHSS thought it fit to involve its students to follow the principles of Dr APJ Kalam to fulfil his dream. Further Little Flower MHSS, Kunrathur also designed and promoted a Signature Campaign Project to obtain signatures from all the School Children’s and also the public involved in various activities.

At present Little Flower MHSS achieved this campaign to an extent of 31 Lakhs signatures and concluded the project on 15.10.2015 and announced our submission to the Union Government for considering our request. A Press Meets was organized on 14.10.2015 and displayed our Project stage. A special Album for Dr. A.P.J. Kalam was also dedicated to the Public which was published and telecasted in all the Media on 15.10.2015.

SCHOOL LIBRARY


➤To promote the Reading habit and to make the awareness of day-to-day happenings in the world a specially designed Library is in operation as per the ISO: 9008 Norms.
➤Salient features of our Library
➤A dedicated Librarian has been deployed by the Management
➤The present Book volume is more than 5350 books which are classified into the following sub-topics
➤To identify the Best Student of the Week based on Track records on library usage.
➤Weekly Voting system on a specified Topic for our Students of IV to XII. Based on the student’s opinions and the awareness reached between the students on the topic we will announce the same in our Prayer which will be very useful to all the students.
➤For KG students attraction we have ample collections of Books and Toys.
➤To suit the student’s usage the Library is functioning between 8.30 AM to 5.30 PM on all working days.
➤Periodical monitoring of the regular visitors from the classes and their feedback

SECRET OF SUCCESSFUL PARENTING


➤Students will learn the habits only from society preferably from parents and teachers.
➤It is very transparent that we can't make extraordinary changes through pressure.
➤We have to trim our behaviour based on the change that we require from childhood.
➤Don’t compare your child with a peer group, or neighbours, & it is more dangerous within the same family.
➤Don't threaten the children in the name of teachers and the principal.
➤Teachers and parents are the role model.
➤They should not create a negative imprint about them in the minds of children.
➤Our school organized 2 Days for “Happy Parenting” and invited the parents with a special motivation concept performed by Mr Rajesh Fernando. This program mainly conveyed the message to parents to find out and upgrade their children’s talents/skills. Parents opined that the concept was very good and will concentrate on the subject in the days to come. This program also was the key to building a bridge between parents-Students-Teachers.
➤For Every Term, we arrange the Open Day Meeting. The Parents can meet the particular Class Teacher & Subject Teacher to discuss about the Performance of their children.
